It is always said that a motorcycle is not a safe vehicle. There is no motorcycle part that protects the driver and it only has two wheels that can never help it to stand by itself. Thus the motorcycle driver himself should be the one to put the necessary protection, such as the wearing of motorcycle helmet. Large percentage of vehicular accidents is attributed to motorcycle. Due to this many countries have required all motorcycle riders and even back riders to wear motorcycle helmets at all times during the ride.

A motorcycle helmet protects our head from a fatal head or brain injury during an impact that might save the driver’s life. Other than that, motorcycle helmet can also protect our eyes from insects or strong lights. It can also protect our ears. Despite the laws and protection it gives, there are still some who refuse to use it. Maybe they are not comfortable, it reduces freedom since it might be heavy and it may be expensive. The important thing in choosing a helmet is that it perfectly fits your head and has the ability to protect you.
