Time For Lowrider Cars
Posted by Paula in Cars (December 6, 2007 at 4:18 am)We all sure are very much familiar with sedans and trucks and vintage vehicles and classic cars and sports cars and sport utility vehicles. But have you ever heard of lowrider cars?
Of course, only a few know what lowrider cars are. And that is not quite surprising for lowrider cars are quite few and they are not as popular as those types of vehicles mentioned above. There are have been quite a number of lowrider cars on the streets and on the roads but the numbers are quite few so it is very much possible that you may not have noticed them at all.
For you to determine if a vehicle is a lowrider car, you would have to check its components. A vehicle becomes a lowrider car when the suspension system has gone through modifications. Sometimes, it is not the suspension system which undergoes changes but it can sometimes be the hydraulic suspension. Either way, when one of these systems have been changed, then you get a lowrider car. You see, when these are changed, the car rides lower than usual and that is where the name is derived from.
It is also necessary that you understand that a lowrider car oftentimes have more features in it that are factory installed. This means that the owner has ordered for the vehicle to come with specially chosen features. Aside from that, the owner also gives the vehicle lots of changes with its features and parts so much so that in the end, you would find a lowrider car bearing tons of aftermarket parts and aftermarket accessories.
A lowrider car may be quite unique for there are only a few of them around however it does take an owner of a lowrider more care to keep the vehicle in shape. You see, because the vehicle has been lowered, its parts stand a high risk of getting damaged because of those bumps on the road.
