Classic Car Sales Does Not Reflect Economic Hardship

In fact, statistics have it that the classic car sale event became the venue for more than £200,000 worth of bids in just one day.
The news report stated that there were around 500 interested parties who flocked to the final auctions of classic cars which was held just last month. The whole lot had the chance to bid for quite a selection of classic vehicles. There were vintage units. There were powerful sports cars. There were those models known as modern classics. There were even pre-war models that would have collectors’ mouths drooling.
The organizers of the mentioned classic car sales event mentioned that the final total of classic vehicles sold went up to a high of 38 and the whole amount that they had received in payment for all those classic cars sold came just a little over £200,000. Just imagine how many people have been tightening their belts but of course there are those who do not need to stretch their dollars.
Some of the highly publicized and most sought after classic units at the auction included a 1963 Alfa, a 1934 Packard Eight Sedan which was used by the mayor of New York that time, a Mann Egerton Bentley 3½ Litre Saloon, and a Morris 1000 Traveller.
That auction may be the last for this year but the British Car Auctions already have the schedule of their next classic car sales auctions set up for next year. The dates fall on February 26, April 22, June 5, October 7, and December 2 next year.
