Born in small town of Crawford, Mississippi, Cadillac Don and J. Money both grew up in a poor single parent home.  The two had been friends since they were young and both like music since then especially hip hop. Cadillac Don’s real name is Donald Sharp; choose Cadillac Don for his alias because of his great love for Cadillac cars. Tiyon Rogers is the real name of J. Money.

 Both went to college with full scholarship in baseball. They actually want to pursue professional baseball but laid down when J. Money got injured. On the other hand, Cadillac Don then became a high school art teacher. Though both may seem to have the path ahead of them yet they choose to continue their love for hip hop music.
 Along the way, Cadillac Don met Big Fruit who is their producer and taught him a lot about rap and enhancing his talent on it. Eventually, Cadillac Don introduced J. Money to Big Fruit and both then were taken by Big Fruit as solo performers initially. Along the way, Big Fruit realized that two is better as duo. The two already had “Peanut and Jelly” for their album and their latest album now is Look At Me.
