Dodge Brother Motor Vehicle Company or widely known as Dodge started in the automobile industry in 1914 by the two brothers, Horace Elgin and John Francis Dodge. They were not actually making cars when they started but manufacture bicycles and automotive parts. The very first car they made was the touring car followed by a roaster, a four-door sedan and trucks. All the cars they made were used then as a staff vehicles and ambulance during the World War I.

Due to the death of Dodge brothers in 1920, the company was sold to different automobile industries which ended up in the Chrysler Corporation in 1928 who is still the owner of Dodge until now. Due to the merger of Daimler, owner of Mercedes – Benz and Chrysler, Dodge became one of its divisions. Today, Dodge Company is well known for the muscle cars they produced, truck models and extraordinary passenger cars. Though Dodge car brand has been through a lot since it started in the car industry, yet its manufaturer continue producing Dodge cars believeing in its reputation that Dodge cars are quality cars. All Dodge cars are available in many countries all over the world.
