After its appearance in the film Easy Rider, the Captain America chopper became the best – known Chopper all over the world. In 1969 Cliff Vaughn/Dave Ohrt made two identical Captain America custom motorcycles; the other one was used in the movie while the other one was unfortunately stolen.

 Most of the parts of Captain America are Harley – Davidson – frame, rear brakes, engine and transmission. Adding to it were the usual chopper looks like the extended forks, ape – hanger handlebars, upswept fishtail mufflers, “peanut” gas tank and tall sissy bar.
